The temple of Sri Sri Nitai Navadvipacandra and the Centre of Vedic Studies are part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) founded in 1966 by Sri Srimad A.C. Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada. Since its inception the society has built on a worldwide scale several hundred temples, farms, restaurants and schools. The Temple Deities had been installed in 1993 and after almost 18 years they were moved from Prague to the village Lužce (near Rudná u Prahy or KarlÅ¡tejn). The temple is situated only 5 km from the KarlÅ¡tejn National Nature Reserve (surrounding the world famous KarlÅ¡tejn Castle) also called The Czech Karst. Read more ›
