On the Brink of Death is a five-part series of storytelling by Sacinandana Swami, a life-long monk who has been through many life-threatening situations and learned tremendously from each of them. In each episode, he shares vivid accounts of these situations, what it was like for him in those moments when faced with death, and the lessons he gained as a result. He shares experiences of being operated on when anesthesia failed, a near-fatal car crash on the autobahn, being shot at in Hamburg, gassed in the Balkans, and more.
