Cartoon Network to air animated films on Lord Krishna this Janmashtami

NEW DELHI: To celebrate Janmashtami with animation lovers across the country, Cartoon Network is showcasing four films chronicling the key mythological stages of Lord Krishna from birth to “Kansa Vadh” beginning this Saturday. These films will highlight Krishna’s mischievous and miraculous stories in an exciting way.

As part of this special four-part Krishna movie series, Cartoon Network will air three films — “Krishna: The Birth” on Saturday, “Krishna: Makhan Chor” on Sunday, and “Krishna: In Vrindavan” on Monday — while the much talked about Indian television premiere of “Krishna: Kansa Vadh” will be on Tuesday.

“Krishna: Kansa Vadh” unfolds the enchanting tale of Lord Krishna’s courageous and adventurous life. It showcases how Krishna saves the village of Vrindavan from demons.
