Harvey Cohen (Haridāsa Brahmacārī) Early Prabhupada Disciple, Dies

Harvey Wallace Cohen (Haridāsa Brahmacārī), an early associate and disciple of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada who played a vital role in the formative days of the Hare Krishna movement in New York, passed away at 1:00 a.m. on March 25, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on February 9, 1931, Cohen met Srila Prabhupada during the earliest phase of the spiritual teacher’s mission in the United States, shortly after Prabhupada arrived in New York in 1965 to share the teachings of bhakti-yoga.
