Devotees from New Govardhana: It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my dear friend Chaitanya Jeevan (Clinton), who left us suddenly last night at the Sunshine Coast due to a heart attack.
Chaitanya Jeevan was not just a devotee or a volunteer — he was a true friend and a selfless soul. He was always there to help, never hesitating, never seeking recognition. He helped me personally by painting my house, and time and again he offered his hands, time, and heart wherever service was needed.
He played such a beautiful role in our kirtan programs, Harinam, Wednesday UNI programs, and many festivals. Recently, he lovingly helped us with painting the Bhakti Centre kitchen and premises, serving quietly with a smile. His music, especially his guitar, uplifted so many hearts and brought warmth and devotion to our gatherings.
Chaitanya Jeevan lived a life of service, friendship, and humility. His presence made things lighter, happier, and more meaningful. His sudden departure has left a deep void that is hard to express in words.
I will always cherish the memories, the laughter, the seva, and the bond we shared. My prayers are with his family, friends, and all who loved him. May the Lord give them strength, and may Chaitanya Jeevan always remain under the loving shelter of the Lord’s lotus feet.
