Dear devotees, disciples, and well-wishers of H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaja,
Please accept our humble obeisances.

By the mercy of Sri Sri Radha Madhava and the sincere prayers of devotees around the world, today we are pleased to share the good news that Guru Maharaja has been discharged from the ICU and transferred to a regular hospital room, where he continues to be cared for by the same dedicated team of physicians and medical staff.
Throughout the day yesterday, Guru Maharaja displayed increased energy and was noticeably more expressive and communicative. He was visited by many of the specialists involved in his care, as well as the attending physician, who ultimately determined that his condition had improved sufficiently to allow this step down from the ICU, which took place late last night.
At the same time, Guru Maharaja remains hospitalized and continues to require antibiotics, respiratory support, and ongoing medical care. His energy has not yet fully returned, and there is still recovery ahead. Although this transition represents a significant and encouraging milestone, we kindly request that devotees continue to respect the current no-visitation policy in order to avoid unnecessary fatigue and reduce the risk of any setback in his recovery.
Even though speaking still requires effort and can tire him, Guru Maharaja continues to use every opportunity to share Krishna consciousness with those around him. Today he engaged in spiritual conversations with nurses, doctors, and hospital staff, eagerly sharing the holy names of Krishna and encouraging others to chant the Maha-mantra aloud at least once.
He distributed Bhagavad-gitas to a nurse and explained to another that by chanting these sacred names we can find true peace and happiness.
To paraphrase a message sent by one of his senior Godbrothers, Guru Maharaja is a wonderful example of how there are no impossibilities in Krishna consciousness. Krishna has the power to transform every challenge into a wonderful opportunity to spread His glories, and Guru Maharaja continues to demonstrate this truth through his example.
Throughout all of this, Guru Maharaja remains grateful for the prayers being offered by devotees around the world. He continues to hear reports of devotional activities, prayers, kirtanas, and preaching efforts being performed for his recovery and is greatly encouraged by this outpouring of love and support.
We humbly request all disciples, devotees, and well-wishers to continue these sincere prayers and to offer extra circumambulations of Tulasi Devi for Guru Maharaja's continued recovery and return to health.
After offering prayers and circumambulating Tulasi, one may offer the results to Their Lordships by reciting the following sankalpa:
adya maya krtair etair bhagavat-kainkaryaih
(meditate on all the spiritual activities that you performed)
sri-panca-tattva-sri-prahlada-narasimha-asta-sakhi-parivrta-sri-sri-radha-madhavah priyantamkayena vaca manasendriyair va
buddhyatmana vanusrta-svabhavat
karomi yad yat sakalam parasmai
narayanayeti samarpayamisarvam sri-krishnarpanam astu
