I was doing books in Dunedin, NZ and I saw an Indian lady with her 7 year old son. She had a red dot in her hair so I knew she was Hindu. I said Hare Krishna and the son lit up with a big smile and said Hare Krishna back to me. He then took the Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1 out of my hand and said “how much? how much?”
I looked at his mother and said “oh he’s a devotee of Krishna” and she looked totally confused.
I then turned to the picture of Krishna and Balarama in the back and said “who is this?” And he said very enthusiastically “that’s Bhagavan!” With a big smile. He then started speaking Hindi to his mum asking her to buy the book. She said “how much” and gave me $20. Then he waved at me as he walked away and smiling said “Hare Krishna” again. I was thinking "man I wish I had the enthusiasm and attraction of that kid towards Krishna". Your servant, Jack
