About Krishna-Lila (Krisztina Danka)
Krisztina Danka is an award-winning filmmaker, college lecturer, visual arts teacher, human rights and environmental activist with an inter-disciplinary educational background in the arts, comparative religion, communication and filmmaking. She is the author of two books, dozens of articles and academic papers, and the writer-producer-director of over 30 documentaries, television-series and videos distributed in theaters, televisions and online internationally. Her videos have had over 2 million views on social media.

Building on the power of storytelling and art, Krisztina specializes in making films and videos relating to human rights and environmental issues, spirituality and education. She has won 14 awards, including the Director of the Best Environmental Film and Best Educational Film (for THE STOLEN RIVER and the VIOLET & THE WILDMAN) at the Kolkata International Film Festival, the IMPACT DOCS Award (Hollywood, CA, USA), the Independent Shorts Award (North Hollywood, CA) and the Best in Show Award at the Cinema Verde International Environmental Film Festival, Florida, USA (for THE STOLEN RIVER), the DeRose-Pinkhouse Memorial Award for the Best Video Production from Religion Communications Council of the United States, (for THE JOY OF DEVOTION).
