Devotee of the Month.
Vraja Kumari dasi was born in a devotee family in Sydney in 1987.

After finishing secondary school she decided to take a gap year and deepen her spiritual education. She joined Indradumya Maharaja in Poland for his famous ‘Festival of India Tour’ where she met many saintly souls whom she enquired from along with being part of the travelling roadshow which was both blissful and austere. It was during this period her faith and realizations went to a deeper level. Upon returning she regularly deferred her university studies to spend time residing in ashrams in the USA, New Zealand and the UK. Each presented new opportunities for acquiring devotional skills and personal growth.

She has fond memories of visiting New Gokula as a child for Goverdhana Puja each year. As a young adult she would also love visiting because of the small family atmosphere. The devotees would always be so friendly and welcoming and there would be so many service opportunities.

Her favourite service is singing bhajans and presenting vaisnava philosophy. She intersperses these services at both New Gokula and Govindas Darlinghurst along with her career as a high school mathematics teacher. Vrndavan is her second home as she would visit each year while growing up. In 2008 she took initiation there from Indradumya Maharaja which she considers to be the greatest blessing in her life.

Thank you for your service Vraja Kumari Dasi.
