By Sri RamadasaSrila Bhaktivinode Thakur, The Seventh Goswami, pioneered the spread of Lord Chaitanya's teachings in the West, sending copies of his works to Ralph Waldo Emerson in the USA and to Reinhold Rost in Europe in 1880. He is the first acarya in our sampradaya to propagate the waves of the nectarean ocean of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s unparalleled divine mission to places outside India. Following in his lead, His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada had translated, printed, and published volumes of sastras to propagate the mission of Lord Chaitanya throughout the world.
