Govinda’s restaurant opening its doors again since destroyed by fire (2 min. video)
TUCSON – Govinda’s vegetarian restaurant in midtown will open its doors again on Saturday morning since it was destroyed by a fire four months ago.
The fire had started at a tire shop located next to the restaurant during the dinner rush.
Govinda’s will serve free cake and tea to the community for it’s re-opening.
For almost 30 years, Govinda’s has been known for its vegetarian menu and peaceful atmosphere, welcoming the community to yoga classes and spiritual teachings inside its temple.
After four months of recovery, reconstruction and renovation, Tucson’s premier spot for vegetarian cuisine is ready to serve.
