Hare Krishna Festival returns to Inner Harbor in Baltimore for the annual Ratha-Yatra and the Jagannatha Boat Festival at New Kulina Gram.
It certainly is an exciting time to be coming out of the irregularaties of the previous year, and what better way to do so than to have yet anther Festival of India and Ratha Yatra. This time in Baltimore, MD in the famous McKeldin Square at Inner Harbor. Setting sail from FOI HQ Prabhupada Village, we gathered the troops on Thursday July 22nd for an overnight stay at the still new Baltimore Temple. No problems in the immediate 7 hour drive appeared and we were able to get a restful night in the abode of the most famous Jagannatha, Baladeva, and Subhadra in ISKCON as they appear in several festivals every year.
