First: Let me offer everyone a safe and joyful holiday season. Merry Krishmas and happy New Years!
Second: Let me inform you that Radha-Krishna’s new temple construction project is rolling onward full steam ahead. Below you will find updates on the build, fundraising to date, pictures and videos. The beautiful temple is being built on the site of Srila Prabhupada and Bhagavan Sri Krishna’s new temple at New Talavana, which is 200 feet above sea level. It is one of the highest sites of any coastal county from Florida to Texas. Consequently, it will be the tallest Temple on the Gulf of Mexico coast!
Currently, the roof is going up. Hancock County building codes & permit department has required us to install a fire suppression system. It can not operate off the water system servicing the new temple. It requires a large self-sufficient holding tank that will feed sprinklers inside the building. Sri Raga Prabhu has calculated the cost at $100,000.00. This is a lot for us.
