The Music of Srila Prabhupada: In the year 1965, an elderly swami, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, traveled alone from Kolkata, India, to the shores of Boston Harbor, USA, to bring Krishna kirtan and bhakti yoga to America. Over the next twelve years, a series of miraculous events unfolded as he established a worldwide Krishna conscious society, with thousands of disciples, more than a hundred temples, ashrams, and farm communities, and authored seventy transcendental books.
