ISKCON New Vrindaban Temple Shutdown Effective Immediately
Please be advised that we were just notified that the daughter of a family from Maryland staying at the lodge (with shared bathrooms) for five days (between Friday and Tuesday) tested positive for COVID-19. The safety of you and your families is paramount here at ISKCON New Vrindaban.
In light of this situation, these are the measures we are putting into place:
Everyone is asked to take a COVID test immediately and submit results to Human Resources.
• The temple and Srila Prabhupada’s Palace are closed effective immediately. The temple and Palace will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• The Welcome Center will be closed until further notice.
The Palace Lodge will be closed and all bookings canceled until next Wednesday, 18 August.
The Pushpa Abhisek/Sunday Brunch is also canceled.
• Daily programming will be LIVESTREAMED as usual.
Masks are now mandatory in all enclosed spaces.
There will be no prasadam distribution to the community.
• We will update you as needed.
