Encouraging the distribution of Prabhupada’s books.
120 devotees, including 40 children attended a special event in Bhaktivdanta Manor including 40 children. Guest speakers included Visakha dasi, Vishvambhar das and Sutapa das.
Children shared delightful stories of their experiences of distributing books door to door. Following an enlivening video, all participants were then presented with a gift.
“These events are extremely helpful as they give us an opportunity to appreciate devotees, especially families with young children, who go door to door,” explained Head of Book Distribution Divya Nama das. “Devotees also enjoy sharing their experiences and listening to others. That becomes the biggest source of inspiration”.
“This year we are looking to increase our book distribution by at
at least 20%,” he added. “In terms of numbers, we are hoping to distribute 90,000 books.”
