By Sukhada dasiOn August 23rd, 2014, when the time arrived for the 10th Annual Rath Yatra Festival of Chariots at Jacksonville Beach, Florida, weather predictions were ominous. But Lord Jagannatha had everything under control. Although hot and humid, the Lord’s servants assembled in full force, and Jacksonville Beach will never be the same as a result. The Dalchand family decorated the cart with colorful festoons, flowers, and lots of love, City Council member Ms. Christine Hoffman and former mayor, Fland Sharp, were in attendance, glorifying the devotees for bringing the "Festival of the Chariots" to their town.
