Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! December, as usual, was by far the most successful month of the year, with astounding results. Starting with ISKCON Silicon Valley, the devotees there distributed 763 Arabic and 3,450 small Arabic books for Srila Prabhupada’s pleasure. In the Large Temple category, Pune again has taken the lead. This has become a regular occurrence. There are a lot of sincere souls in Pune. The devotees did huge: 1,005,159 book points in December. Over a million points in one month! In the Medium Temple category, Hyderabad had an exceptionally good month. We don’t usually see Hyderabad at the top of the list, so I think that Krsna inspired everyone. The devotees did 288,447 book points. Among the Small Temples, way up in northern India, Chandigarh did 105,499 book points, which is huge for a small temple. In the Maha-Small category, Porto Alegre, Brazil was numero uno, with 3,353 book points. “Maha-small” means up to five devotees. So with just a few devotees such nice results have been achieved for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada. Here’s a 1977 letter from Srila Prabhupada: “Regarding printing our books and literatures, I may inform you in this connection that I saw one bulletin of Indian Railways in which it was specifically advised that every railway servant should see to it that the wheels of the carriages or vehicles must be moving always, which means that the railway is going nicely. Similarly, all of us should see that our literature is profusely distributed. That means that our missionary work is going on nicely.
